Tonight is the Carnival Wine & Cheese night.

Professional commentaries from Tim Phillips and Jonathan Broomfield

There's still a few tickets available from Winkworths Estate Agents £15

Last night was the musical mayhem of the Carnival Quiz, many thanks to Gus Govier for his seemingly difficult questions and wonderful bits and pieces of songs that we thought we knew but maybe didn't.

A fun night for all involved and a big thank you to the Hare and Hounds for hosting the event, working hard to keep us all fed and watered, and for their donation of quiz prizes.

  • Procession & Party

Friday sees the carnival procession moving through the village, Sway Village Hall to Jubilee Field starting at 7pm.

Come and support all the hard work put in by the entrants, don't forget your piles of pennies (and larger) to throw into the kids collecting buckets.

Along the way there'll be refreshments from Sways vintage bar, The Frog and Jam Jar, Food from Hot Stuff Catering and of course the Silver Hind (which will be screening football); As will the Jubilee Pavilion at the After-Procession Party.

Also at the Party, Forest Pride Burgers, The Laughing Street Chef, Bar, Ice Cream, Marching Band, Ukelele Band and Disco.

    So, something for everyone.
