The Silver Hind

The Silver Hind can be found in the centre of the New Forest village of Sway and is a local inn and restaurant. New owners, Andy and Carol Cottingham are committed to using locally sourced produce and ales and will be serving a range of high quality, fresh, home prepared and cooked fare in a relaxed and friendly environment. The property dates from 1909 and was originally a cottage for the village District Nurse. It has been significantly extended by previous owners and Andy and Carol have undertaken major rebuilding works to the interior, to provide a high quality free house with a restaurant and local's bar, which carry a range of real ales. Chef, Carl Munroe is passionate about seasonal, locally sourced food and has used his considerable experience to produce a range of menus sure to please those who appreciate excellently prepared and cooked food, from quality bar meals to special Sunday lunches and fine dining.

Sway Village

Sway is a small yet vibrant village nestled on the southern edge of the New Forest national park in Hampshire. Just four miles from the georgian town of Lymington and the solent coastline, its location making the village a haven for walkers, horse riders, cyclists and sailors.
