The Coates Centre Opens

Has your life been impacted by illness? Would you like some support and information? If you are living with an illness, care for someone who has an illness or are bereaved and would like support, information or to meet people in similar situations, then The Coates Centre may well be able to help.

Soon to open, this brand new service and facility, situated within the grounds of Oakhaven Hospice, aims to offer information and support in a variety of ways to anyone in the local community whose lives have been affected by illness. Examples include a drop in centre where trained volunteers can offer a listening ear and signpost you to other services of interest, all while having a coffee. A programme of activities will also be available ranging from laughter yoga, complementary therapies and informational talks to cooking classes. These can be easily accessed and aim to provide both information and support. Services are free of charge; all that is asked for is a donation.

Named after our founders John & Phoebe Coates, The Coates Centre is a brand new way of doing things. We open to the public on 7th October, come along and say hello. You can access more information on our website www.thecoatescentre.co.uk where a full programme of activities appear shortly or telephone 01590 677198
